A destination Jewish wedding brought Jacqueline and Daniel’s family and friends together for three days of celebration in Punta Cana. Caribbean Wedding and Events Agency spent a year planning their event in the Dominican Republic. From the welcome dinner to the boat party, each gathering reflected the couple’s style and gave guests time to celebrate together.
Planning a Destination Jewish Wedding
First, we explored several resorts with Jacqueline and Daniel through personalized site visits. These visits helped the couple compare settings and picture how their celebrations could unfold.
After considering the options, they chose Barceló Bávaro Palace. We then worked on the design, schedule, and coordination for their three-day event. Throughout the planning process, their preferences and cultural heritage guided our decisions.

Day One: A Personalized Welcome Dinner
The festivities began with a welcome dinner at Bar Higuey, in the resort’s convention center. Here, loved ones gathered before the wedding day in a relaxed, welcoming setting.
To create the atmosphere, our team added elegant white fabric draping and understated decorations. Meanwhile, personalized coconuts engraved with Jacqueline and Daniel’s initials brought a playful tropical detail to the evening.
This first gathering gave guests an opportunity to spend time together before the ceremony. It also introduced the personal touches that continued throughout the celebration.
Day Two: Ceremony on the Sky Terrace
The following day, Jacqueline and Daniel celebrated their Jewish wedding ceremony on the Sky Terrace. Our team transformed the space for the occasion, bringing the couple’s chosen design into the setting.
With family and friends gathered around them, the ceremony became the heart of the three-day celebration. After months of preparation, the couple could share this meaningful moment with their loved ones.
A Ballroom Reception with Personal Style
After the ceremony, the celebration continued in the resort’s ballroom. The reception decor reflected Jacqueline and Daniel’s style while honoring the cultural character of their wedding.
Moving from the terrace to the ballroom gave each part of the day its own atmosphere. Meanwhile, the entertainment brought energy to the evening and kept the festivities moving.

Day Three: A Boat Party Along the Coast
The next day, guests joined the couple for a boat party along Punta Cana’s coastline. Music, laughter, and sea views gave the final gathering a relaxed atmosphere.
Rather than ending the experience after the reception, Jacqueline and Daniel chose another opportunity to enjoy time with their guests. As a result, the boat trip became a joyful closing chapter to the celebrations.
